Running's Demise

With all of this time I have on my hands away from my Fiance, I have decided to not only start running again, but I have joined a gym. A 24 hour gym that happens to close at 6pm on Sunday, just FYI. Since I started running again, I have felt a lot better. (I am recovering from a sprained ankle. Stupid, stubborn me sprained my ankle and STILL ran 3 miles every day on it. Well, duh Tiffany, no wonder it wasn't getting any better. Word of advice for anyone who may lack intelligence such as myself, do not run on a sprained ankle. You won't be able to wear heels or run without pain for 2 weeks.) Anywho moving on. So, I figured if running can make me feel this great I wonder how great I will feel after joining a gym! Sore, sore is how I feel. Sore and tired yet addicted. Running 3 miles everyday isn't enough for me. Apparently, my body needs more. It thrives on how much I sweat, obviously. I feel like crap when I don't go. When I signed up, the gym offered me a one time free session with a trainer.  He kicked my butt. It was a easy 30 minute workout that had me feeling like I could do those moves all day...until the next day. I could barely walk and could forget about sitting down for 3 days! THREE DAYS! For someone who never goes horseback riding, you know the feeling the day after you go... that was me. If I sat down too long, forget about getting up fast or moving swiftly to the kitchen. Not happening. Not wanting to dwell on that subject very long, I go to the gym 7 days a week. I just started running again yesterday, after 2 weeks of being out of commission, running 6 miles. Surprisingly, my ankle only hurt AFTER I finished my run. Not the swollen, throbbing, turn Hulk into a care bear hurt but a tiny sting if I step wrong. I am really hoping this goes away soon. Maybe I should give it a few more days. *Tiffany, you're jumping your subject around again!* Back to the gym. I cannot afford a trainer so I watch people and very nonchalantly copy what they do. Kinda like the beginning of Bridesmaids =)

On another subject, the wedding date is still unknown. Please Uncle Sam, let me know something soon so we can plan our wedding! How awesome would it be if the military was more scheduled and allotted their soldiers enough time to know things! =)

Anywho, I'm sure I am boring you by now. Wish me luck as I try to figure out what the heck I am doing not only in the gym but in the army life!

I am sorry for the really long and boring post. Here, please accept this funny cat video as an appology!
