Greetings from New Mexico!

I haven't posted in a while and I apologize. HOWEVER, I have been on serious vacation.. haha MUCH needed vacation! It started off on the 11th of Feb. I (for the first time EVER) flew from Atlanta to SEATTLE! Its absolutely GORGEOUS! Stayed in Seattle for a few days and enjoyed the city. Tuesday, I left headed home.. However, I am not flying back. Im driving back! Yes, driving ALL the way back to ALABAMA! Oregon was absolutely GORGEOUS! Im envious of anyone who lives there! It SNOWED! Keep in mind im from Alabama and it has only snowed there three times in 20 years! The next stop was HOLLYWOOOOOD! I was so excited coming over the mountain and seeing that beautiful skyline of Los Angeles. We went to see the Hollywood sign and then it was time to find a place to stay for the night. Well, there was a hotel in north Hollywood.. Now, when you think of Hollywood, what comes to mind? Expensive, 5 star, top class? Yea? Me too... well nooo not so much. I was terrified for my LIFE! The hotel we went to was literally in the ghetto. I never would've thought Hollywood would even have a ghetto. Well anyway, we get in and there is train graffiti on the walls, doors, and windows, gum and DEAD WORMS on the wall by the bed, cobwebs on the walls and torn bead spreads. It really looked like it hadn't been cleaned! I take a look around and immediately say "Nope! Not stayin here!" and walk out. We try to get the money back and can only get half but the lady at the desk was like "please, let me get you a better room." Seriously? We couldn't get it to begin with?! Heck no.. so we leave and head to a best western. I would've rather slept outside with the thugs that were ganged up by the door! It was pure hell. Today, we made it through Arizona which was nothing but desert and cactus. Not much to see. Now, I am here in a hotel (a very comfortable one) in New Mexico! I have PLENTY of pictures and a few videos of the whole trip which I will attach as soon as I get home! Wish me luck on the duration of my escapades! XX
