I am the worlds worst about buying a new makeup every few weeks. I have yet to come across one I like ( I am having serious de ja vu about this article...) Anywho, I have a really oily T-zone and forehead that HAS to have alot of moisturizer or else it dries out.. seriously my forehead has a mind of its own.. haha. That was my sad attempt at a "get it? nudge nudge" thing. Ok so, normally I'm a Maybelline kinda gal, but those are obviously not working for me so I tried Revlon. I got the Colorstay foundation for combination/oily skin. So far so good. The powder I bought is the Colorstay Aqua Mineral powder. I love putting it on! It feels like it's wet! So cool =) Anywho, the foundation is 16 hour wear and it seems to be working pretty well so far! I took a photo this morning after I put it on (which is bad quality btw.. sorry) and a photo after 5 hours. It hasn't budged =) and this is after my "lunch break" which actually consists of running errands, flipping off old slow drivers, and grabbing a bite of greasy pizza on the way back. =)) *psst I was kidding about the flipping off old people part.. but some of them really make me want to.. especially after they sit through 3 green lights before they decide to run the red one.. UGG! Anywho, here are the photos!

Again, I apologize for the poor quality but you can take my word for it =) This stuff is amazing!
Your foundation looks fab, Did you use a brush to apply it? I picked up my first bottle of colorstay last weekend but finding the application soooo tricky!
ReplyDeleteHey! Thank you!! Actually I used a sponge. =( EEK I know.. I hate using them but I haven't been able to perfect the brush yet without it looking like I literally painted on my makeup (streaks, blobs, ect.)
ReplyDeleteVery cute blog. I'm a new follower. :) Thanks for this review. I'm in the market for a new foundation. This may be one of the ones I will have to consider!

I love Revlon Colourstay, It's my go-to foundation.
ReplyDeleteI got mine in a shade just too dark for me but I use a Sigma F80 to buff it in and I can just get away with it :)
@ Miranda and Izzy Hey guys! thanks for following! I just got back from my trip so I will be checkin out your blogs too! @Emma it's amazing! I loveeee it. Since I have been tanning I have to mix some of it with my MAC foundation from last summer to match and with both of those, this makeup doesnt go anywhere lol!
ReplyDeleteGreat review hun, think I will have to try this one. I picked up the photo ready one, not listening to all the reviews and I'm very disappointed, but this one sounds good xxx
